An affiliate is a site that you recommend to others and in return, the owners of that site give you a little bit of compensation. Some compensations is per hit and some per sale. E-bay is great. I am constantly selling and buying (my i.d. is psofjosie) and it has supplemented my income quite nicely. If you have a website, you may also be able to place a link to E-bay and in return they'll pay you $5 for every new person you send to them who places a bid and $0.05 every time that person bids after that.
